USS Antares NX-86621 3D Update

This is a ship design I came up with, during my free time. I wanted a ship that could really stand up to the Borg. And I thought it was fun designing a massive ship. If any would be willing to make a digital (better format than what I have right now, Because I don't have the software to do anything cool. 2D would be great 3D would be SOOOO COOL!!!!) PLEASE go right ahead! I just ask is I get a copy, and that credit goes to me for the design. Also any comments are welcome this is my first Starship and I might have missed something.

This person, , helped me out by putting the multiple pics into one large pic. I used Google Sketchup to do this. The file is available for download if you wish to help me improve the ship. The 3D model is not the exact dimensions as the original, but that is because I don't know how to use the software as an expert.

In the mid 2360 Starfleet realized that the Borg and the Dominion were one of the biggest treats to Starfleet. So the Advanced Starship Design Bureau (ASDB) started Project Rex, which they developed and built a ship large enough to stand up to the challenge. However the system that the Sirius class was built is still classified. One thing you may notice is that the Sirius class has 2 warp nacelles in the back and 2 smaller ones up further. The reason for this is because of the massive size the warp field can’t reach around the whole ship and needs help from the 2 smaller nacelles. Another thing may be noticed is that the Sirius class has a mix of Constitution and Galaxy construction in it for this reason, *“Of those original fourteen ships {constitution-class}, only two had been lost by 2270, demonstrating the overall superiority of the design.” Also why the ASDB kept some Constitution characteristics is that Captain Robert April once commented. *“… a Constitution-class starship could do anything.” Just like the Prometheus class, the Sirius Class has a ship wide holoemitter array, for 1/3 of the crew are holograms, and because holograms need no living spaces, that space is now used to help power the duel phaser arrays. In 2366 the main purpose for the Defiant class was to be a test bed for the pulse cannon for the Sirius Class.

OK my theory and my opinion to have four nacelles like this. The way I see it a warp field [link] is like a "bubble" [link] that "surrounds the ship" [link] [link] It kinda reminds me of a magnetic field [link] and we know magnets run off of the inverse square law. If you move away 2ft its 4 times weaker. So lets say a ship is larger than a warp field made one needs to boost it and what you do is put some smaller nacelles to boost it, just like a magnet it can boost its field by just bring in another magnet. And in Episode ENT: Divergence the Columbia had to come into the Enterprise's Warp field, just showing that the is a size limit the the warp field unless it is boosted. I'm not try to be mean I just want people to somewhat understand where I'm coming from, and second THIS is Sci-Fi none of it is real LOL to argue of nonexistent stuff is stupid.
